I’ve been in search of a desk that can accommodate my work flow with SSL DAW controllers for quite some time. I hated that the controllers were bulky and took up so much real estate on my desk. I work mainly with analog gear, and use the controllers for mixing and tracking control. It needs to be positioned in the “sweet spot” and everything out of the way from my computer keyboard and mouse.

That search was over when I spoke with Brock at 2Egress. We developed a relationship when he designed side cars and racks for me on another project. His work is so beautiful and well designed. No shaky or loose parts. When you lean on the desk, you can feel how sturdy everything is. Brock also designed key cable management that is hidden from view, so none of my cables stuck out like a sore thumb.

The process of design was next level. Brock worked with me on every step of the way. If I had a new idea, he would discuss the pros and cons of that idea. I absolutely love how the controllers feel like they were part of the desk, flushed in the furniture itself. Through our journey, Brock became a good friend.
